Frequently asked questions
What types of documents should I upload?
Yes, Claim Climbers operates on a straightforward, flat-rate billing model, ensuring no surprise fees or percentage of your backpay. While we do charge for our comprehensive services, we offer an initial consultation at no charge to help assess how we can serve your needs best.
Do I need a formal diagnosis to get a nexus letter?
Yes, a formal medical diagnosis is required for us to write a nexus letter. The nexus letter connects your diagnosed condition to your military service, so without a diagnosis, we cannot establish the necessary link for the VA. If you have not yet received a diagnosis, we recommend consulting with a medical provider before requesting a nexus letter.
Is my personal information secure?
Yes, we use secure, encrypted methods to ensure your documents and personal information are protected. We comply with all HIPAA regulations to keep your data confidential.
How many Files Can I Upload at Once?
15 Files at Once. No more than 250MB total per upload.
What if I don’t have all my documents yet?
If you’re still waiting for certain records, you can upload the documents you have now and add the rest later. It’s important to provide as much information as possible and let us know that you are still working on uploading more.
Do I need to organize my documents before uploading?
No, we can take care of organizing your documents. However, adding your name and your birth year to the file names helps our team better ensure all your files stay linked together.
Will my documents be shared with anyone?
No, your documents are confidential and will only be accessed by our team of professionals who are involved in your case review.
